Our Research Standards
Every article on Aging Safely Home is written to answer a real, specific question that our audience — older adults, adult children, and family caregivers — is actually asking. We research current sources, avoid speculative claims, and label estimates and planning figures clearly instead of presenting them as guarantees.
Sources
For safety, health-adjacent, cost, and benefits topics, we prioritize authoritative sources such as government agencies, established nonprofits (e.g., AARP, NCOA), and official program pages. We cite sources where they materially support a claim and revalidate time-sensitive facts (costs, programs, product availability) on an appropriate schedule.
What We Don’t Do
We do not diagnose medical conditions, recommend treatment, or provide individualized advice about government benefits eligibility. We do not fabricate statistics, review counts, ratings, or sales figures. We do not accept payment in exchange for a specific editorial conclusion.
Affiliate Relationships
This site participates in the Amazon Associates program. Full details are in our Affiliate Disclosure. Commercial relationships never determine which products we discuss or how we describe them.
